Vladimir Putin and Serdar Berdimuhamedov to meet in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold his first meeting with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the coming days, reports TASS, referring to the words of the press secretary of the head of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
"Yes, it is planned," the Kremlin representative replied to the question whether Putin will have a meeting with the President of Turkmenistan in Moscow in the coming days, the agency writes on Sunday.
"The new president of Turkmenistan will come to Russia on an official visit for the first time. <...> Russia has a large–scale cooperation with the republic, which both countries intend to develop further," Russia 1 TV channel also reported.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding Serdar Berdimuhamedov with the Order of Friendship. The presidential decree notes that the Turkmen leader was awarded the order "for his great contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership between the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan."
