The export of Turkmen natural gas exceeded the plan by more than a quarter

The planned task for the extraction of natural and associated gas by the enterprises of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan was completed in January-October 2022 with an excess of 14.5%, and for gas exports – by more than a quarter, 25.6%, in excess of the established one.

Deputy Prime Minister Shahym Abdrakhmanov, who oversees the oil and gas sector, reported on the performance of structural units of the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan during a government meeting on Friday.

Among the leaders were the production workers who fulfilled the plan for polypropylene by 120.3% and gasoline by 116.7%. Diesel fuel production and oil refining, respectively, amounted to 112.2% and 110.5% of the plan.

Also, the producers of liquefied gas (107.8%) and lubricating oils 102.9 (%) exceeded the planned targets for ten months of this year.

The state Concern Turkmenneft fulfilled the plan by exactly 100%.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused the attention of the fuel and energy sector management on attracting investments in the oil and gas sector and promoting the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline construction project.
