The Bagir residential complex in the Byuzmeyin district of the capital is awaiting large-scale social construction. During a regular Cabinet of Ministers meeting on Friday, May 22, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov followed up on Deputy Prime Minister Baimyrat Annamammedov's report by signing a relevant resolution launching the construction of an entire complex of educational and medical infrastructure facilities.
According to the signed document, the capital's mayor's office is authorized to enter into contracts with domestic private construction companies for the design and construction of two comprehensive schools, each designed for 720 students, a kindergarten for 320 children, and a high-tech health center.
The new educational institutions will fully meet international educational standards, and the medical center will be equipped with cutting-edge specialized equipment from leading global manufacturers. The project also includes comprehensive improvements and landscaping of all adjacent areas.
Construction work at the sites in the Byuzmeyin district will begin this month. The head of state approved specific deadlines for the completion of the facilities. The new comprehensive schools and kindergarten will open their doors to young Ashgabat residents in September 2027, in time for the start of the school year, and the Health Center will be fully ready to receive its first patients in October 2027.
