Oriented on making people closer

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan Begmyrat Atayev discussed with UN Deputy Secretary General Armida Salsia Alisjabana the intensification of cooperation between the Turkmen side and the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).

The negotiations took place within the framework of the 79th session of ESCAP, which was held in Bangkok, the Turkmen diplomatic mission reports.

The Turkmen side thanked the leadership of the commission for their comprehensive support in the adoption of резолюции Turkmenistan on the Aral Sea during the regular session.

The representatives also noted the importance of Turkmenistan's continued active participation in thematic seminars and conferences organized by ESCAP to establish contacts with international experts.
