Media representatives from China and ASEAN countries attended a joint media tour

The China-ASEAN International Media Tour, organized by the China Daily website and the ASEAN-China Center jointly with the China Internet Development Foundation, has ended.

The media tour brought together representatives of leading media from China and countries belonging to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

The event, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative, is designed to demonstrate the achievements of Chinese enterprises and reveal the history of mutually beneficial partnership between China and ASEAN countries. It also emphasizes the role of the media as a link between countries.

The media tour started at the Halim Railway Station of the Jakarta-Bandung High Speed Railway in Jakarta.

The 142.3 km long high-speed line connects Indonesia's capital Jakarta and the country's fourth largest city Bandung. It is a flagship project that combines China's Belt and Road Initiative and Indonesia's Global Maritime Pillar strategy. The railway provided safe and comfortable travel for people along its route.

Participants also visited Wintech Nano-Technology Services Pte Ltd in Singapore. She is engaged in global developments in the field of analysis and testing of semiconductor chips.

They visited the Cainiao Cikarang Logistics Park in Jakarta, Indonesia. This logistics center, consisting of six warehouses, is designed to meet the needs of both local businesses and stimulate international trade.
