Delegation from Turkmenistan Took Part in the 106th Meeting of the CIS Economic Council
19.07.2025 | 22:43 |On July 18, the delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Esen Aidogdyev, took part in the 106th meeting of the Economic Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States, which was held in Moscow.
During the meeting, a wide range of issues of economic cooperation of the CIS member states was considered, as well as drafts of a number of documents concerning, in particular, cooperation in the field of ensuring regional energy security, the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, pricing in construction, forestry and the forest industry, etc.
At the same time, the meeting participants discussed a number of issues related to the implementation in 2024 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the first stage (2021-2025) of the CIS Economic Development Strategy for the period up to 2030.
The next meeting of the Economic Council is scheduled for September 5, 2025 in Dushanbe.
