Google plans to invest €5.5 billion in data centers and other operations in Germany over the next four years. The company intends to build two data centers in the Frankfurt area. According to Philipp Justus, head of Google in Germany, the investment is expected to create around 9,000 jobs per year. Earlier last week, Nvidia and Deutsche Telekom announced plans to build a €1 billion data center in Munich, with its opening scheduled for early 2026.
