International University for Humanities and Development (IUHD) is expanding the horizons of educational cooperation. Under the European Union’s Erasmus+ program, two university students — Ihlas Komekov and Soltanmurat Tairov — traveled to Italy to participate in a five-month study course. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
The host institution was the prestigious G. d’Annunzio University, located in the cities of Chieti and Pescara. This visit marked the first practical student exchange experience between the two universities, opening a new chapter in the scientific and educational relations between Turkmenistan and Italy.

The program provides future specialists with unique opportunities for professional growth. Students not only study European educational standards but also gain valuable practical experience in international politics and diplomacy. Being in an international environment, young people improve their foreign language skills and establish academic connections with peers from different countries.
The implementation of such projects is made possible by the country’s broad educational policy aimed at preparing world-class professionals. Participation in exchange programs allows Turkmen youth to represent the national education system internationally and adopt the advanced experience of leading foreign centers.
