A concert of Turkmen and world classical music was held at the Mukam Palace of the National Cultural Center on Saturday. The organizers have done a great job, a lot of effort has been spent, all opportunities have been used to hold the event at the most decent level. And all because it wasn't just a concert.

Composer and pianist Mammed Guseynov took part in the gala concert "Dedication to Elena Obraztsova", which took place on May 26 at the Kaliningrad Philharmonic named after E.F. Svetlanov. Together with his wife Daria, he presented to the public his author's compositions, as well as the works of Sergei Rachmaninov, whose 150th anniversary is celebrated this year by the entire musical world.

The Moscow International Art Festival "Sounds of Dutar" named after Nury Halmamedov, the author of the project of which is the composer Mammed Guseynov, will be held this fall for the 7th time - from October 28 to November 4. The new season is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the great Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov (1938-1983).

A unique choreographic performance using digital and interactive technologies will be presented on stage for the first time in Ashgabat by European artists. Today it is one of the most fashionable and innovative areas of contemporary artistic creativity in Europe. The Representative Office of the European Union in Turkmenistan and the French Institute made such an original gift for the Turkmen viewers. The organizers dedicated the cultural event to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the EU.

On May 28, the Russian Ethnographic Museum in St. Petersburg will host a large-scale holiday "Carpet World" dedicated to the Day of the Turkmen Carpet, celebrated annually in Turkmenistan on the last Sunday of May.

UNESCO will take part in the celebration of 46 anniversaries in 2024-2025, initiated by Member States at the 216th session of the Organization's Executive Board. The list of memorable dates will also include the “300th anniversary of the birth of the poet Magtymguly Fragi”, presented by Turkmenistan. The proposal was supported by Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Ukraine. This was reported on the website of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

One of the brightest events of the first month of summer in Turkmenistan promises to be the International Dance and Folklore Festival Awaza-2023, which will be held on the shores of the Caspian Sea on June 13-16. Creative teams from Iran, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, Russia, Romania, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other countries confirmed their participation in it.

The concert "Day of Childhood", prepared by students and teachers of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, will be held in Ashgabat on May 31. The evening is dedicated to International Children's Day, which is celebrated annually around the world on June 1.

From May 26 to June 4, the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan will hold a screening of European films and a series of workshops on photography and documentary film production. This is reported on the representative office's page on the social network Instagram.
