The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has inscribed the Spring Festival, marking the beginning of the traditional Chinese New Year according to the lunar calendar, and the associated social practices of the Chinese people, on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. This was reported by the Xinhua News Agency.

The Turkmen delegation, consisting of the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection, representatives of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, and an employee of the Turkmen Embassy in the Republic of Uzbekistan, participated in the third high-level meeting within the framework of the regional DARYA project (Dialogue and Actions for Resourceful Youth in Central Asia).
