Besides everything, famous figures of Turkmen cinema who will tell about cinema development in the country will become visitors of news -debate TV programs these days.
As known, the motion picture arts in Turkmenistan had arisen about 90 years ago – the feature film «White gold», become first in the history of Turkmen cinema, was made in 1927.
The cinema came under influence of the literature at all times practically: in a choice of hero, conflict reason, innovation of art decisions, style features. But it is necessary to note that the Turkmen cinema today like a lot of years ago, does not change the spiritual orientation, it is kind and instructive stories which are urged to evoke in us the best human qualities.
May be it is for this reason that a philosophical film about the human soul «Gumli gelin», made by director Shirli Mollaev, debuting in 2014 at the International Festival of short-length films in China, became owner of the main award. As the director marks, in foreign cinema a lion's share is occupied with action films and thrillers where people turn to destroyers, and the picture on the screen continually shows bloody scenes. In this context the Turkmen cinema stays away from such film products.
The long-term history of Turkmen cinema totals tens of best films, many of which became classics genre: «A decisive step» (1966), «Silent daughter-in-law» (1967) "Mahtumkuli" (1968), etc. The film "Kechpelek" where the best creative power of that time united, this year celebrates the 50th anniversary. And even if someone did not watch this film, the music from the film, composed by composer Nury Khalmammedov, is known literally by every resident of Turkmenistan.
The festival of Turkmen culture starting these days in Dashoguz is traditionally rich in events, and the day before the premiere of the film «The Great Silk road» by director Vepa Ishankulyev took place. Besides, within the limits of the cultural program there was held a creative meeting in which ways of the further development of Turkmen cinema were discussed.
