Turkmenistan adopted a new regulation in April on assigning the legal status of "National" and "Academic" to theaters.
It is expected that this will stimulate the creative activity of theaters, increase the artistic value of performances and their social and spiritual significance.

The status of "National" can be assigned to the creative team of the theater, theatrical organization for outstanding achievements related to the development of national culture.
