President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conferred the honorary title of Honored Carpet Weaver of Turkmenistan to 11 craftswomen of the country for great merits in the development of the national art of carpet weaving and its popularization in the world, many years of conscientious work and professional skills, as well as on the occasion of the Turkmen Carpet Day, which is celebrated on Sunday.

By the decree of the head of state, carpet weavers of the National Museum of Turkmen Carpet, Ashgabat, Baherden, Gyzylarbat, Esenguly, Dashoguz, Halach and Mary enterprises of artistic carpet weaving of the State Association "Turkmencarpet" were awarded the honorary title.
