Paintings by Turkmen artists dedicated to the Azerbaijani city of Shusha will be published in the form of a catalog
21.09.2023 | 00:05 |The works of artists from the Turkic world, dedicated to the Azerbaijani city of Shusha, will be published in the form of a catalog, which will include paintings by masters of the brush of the traditional creative camp TURKSOY. Painters from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and other countries have gathered here, AZERTAC reports.
This year the international "plein air" is held for the 23rd time and takes place from 10 to 20 September. Earlier Orient wrote that Turkmenistan is represented by two artists: Azat Annaev - Honored Artist of Turkmenistan, teacher of the State Academy of Arts and Allaberdi Ovezdurdyev – a young representative of the Mary painting school and a teacher of the Mary children's art school.
Their new "Shusha" works, as well as other masters, will be published in the form of a special catalog. Their works reflect the picturesque nature and unique historical and architectural monuments of the cultural capital. Now these canvases are on display at the vernissage in Azerbaijan as part of the International Creative Meeting of Brush masters from the Turkic world. Later, the paintings will be presented at an event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of TURKSOY.
Artists participating in the project are presented for awards, Permanent Representative of TURKSOY in Azerbaijan Elchin Gafarly said. "Artists are very happy to be in Azerbaijan. Some of them came to our country for the first time and regret that they did not visit Azerbaijan. They visited many cultural institutions and museums to get to know Azerbaijani culture better. After all, creative people all have their own point of view," Elchin Gafarli said.
