On November 30, 2023, an online meeting was held between the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Hennadii Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Rector Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev and Senior Lecturer at the International Relations and Diplomacy Department, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Nurberdi Amanmyradov presented the Institute of International Relations. The Director of the Academy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Hennadii Nadolenko and Deputy Director Oleksandr Kirichenko participated from the Ukrainian side.

At the beginning of the meeting, the sides got acquainted with the scientific, educational activities of these institutions. During the meeting, the sides discussed some issues on further development of cooperation in the fields of co-organizing seminars, conducting scientific and practical researches and mutual invitations to participate in academic activities as well as exchanging of curricula.

It is worth noting that this year marks 10 years since the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Institute of International Relations and the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine. During the meeting, the parties summed up the ten years of interaction between the two universities and discussed the prospects for further partnership. At the end of the meeting, the Rector of the Institute invited his Ukrainian colleagues to take part in events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and classical poet of the East Magtymguly Fragi.
