Turkmenistan Airlines, together with ICAO, will conduct regional flight safety training
23.07.2024 | 03:00 |From September 30 to October 18, 2024, a theoretical course on the program “State Flight Safety Inspector - Certification of Specialists” will be held at the Aviation Personnel Training School of the “Türkmenhowaýollary” agency. The course is organized jointly with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and is aimed at improving the professional training of aviation specialists in accordance with ICAO standards.
The training will be attended by 7 representatives of the “Turkmen Airlines” agency and 5 civil aviation specialists from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. They will form a research group of 12 experts, which will allow them to exchange experience and best practices in the field of flight safety, according to the agency’s website.
Conducting this course will create significant opportunities to improve the qualifications of civil aviation employees of Turkmenistan and their colleagues from neighboring countries, improve training methods and bring them into line with international requirements. This will also strengthen cooperation in the field of aviation security at the regional level.
The activities of the “Türkmenhowaýollary” agency are aimed at ensuring the safety of civil aviation in Turkmenistan in accordance with national legislation and international standards established by ICAO. The agency actively participates in international events, improving the professional level of its employees.
Thus, recently, on July 8-12, on the basis of the Aviation Personnel Training School of the "Türkmenhowaýollary" a training was held as part of the "National Aviation Security Engineer" training program of the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC), in which specialists from the agency, international airports of Turkmenistan, as well as stakeholders from the region, in particular from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan took part.
