Turkmenistan ranks first in price accessibility of diesel fuel among the Commonwealth of Independent States. This was reported by the international news agency "Kazinform", with reference to the Global petrol Prices (GPP) portal.

According to the updated rating of the portal, Turkmenistan ranks 7th in the world.

Currently, the cost of diesel fuel in Turkmenistan is $0.286 per liter (approximately 140 tenge).

The cheapest diesel fuel in the world is in Venezuela, priced at $0.004 per liter, while the most expensive is in Hong Kong, where it sells for $3.185.

High-quality oil and petrochemical products in Turkmenistan are produced by the Turkmenbashy Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR) of the State Concern "Turkmennebit". The Turkmenbashy Complex is one of the leading oil refineries in the world. The products from this complex are exported to Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
