Turkmenistan's Ambassador to Turkey to represent the country in Morocco

By decree of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Turkey Mekan Ishangulyev has been appointed concurrently as Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Morocco.

The new appointment was formalized by the decree of the head of state signed on February 23, TDH reports.

Mekan Ishangulyev will continue his work as Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Ankara, combining this position with representing Turkmenistan's interests in Morocco and promoting the strengthening of ties with the states of the African continent.

Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Morocco were officially established on September 25, 1992.
