Over 137,000 "Bilimli" laptops delivered to dchools for first-graders in Turkmenistan
29.08.2025 | 11:32 |A total of 137,054 "Bilimli" laptops, manufactured in Turkmenistan, have been delivered to educational institutions in Ashgabat, Arkadag, and all of the country's velayats in time for the new school year. The news was reported by the Turkmenistan newspaper.
The laptops were produced and supplied through a joint effort by the economic entity "Aýdyň gijeler" and the joint venture "Agzybirlik tilsimaty."
The "Aýdyň gijeler" economic entity produced 68,527 laptops, which were sent to educational institutions in:
Dashoguz Velayat — 32,276
Balkan Velayat — 10,731
Mary Velayat — 25,520
The "Agzybirlik tilsimaty" joint venture prepared the second half of the batch, distributing it to:
Lebap Velayat — 24,376
Akhal Velayat — 19,543
Mary Velayat — 7,154
Ashgabat City — 16,954
Arkadag City — 500
Updated Features and Educational Software According to Jennet Altynazaraova, the head of the foreign economic affairs department at "Aýdyň gijeler," the laptops' technical specifications have been significantly improved. The operating system was upgraded from Android 14.0 to Android 15.0 with Google services. The RAM was increased from 4 GB to 6 GB, and wireless modules now support Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n + BT and Bluetooth 4.0.
Special attention was paid to educational software. The laptops come pre-loaded with interactive applications that help children learn to read, write, and count through games, as well as an app that teaches road safety rules.
