The ninth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish Commission on Economic Cooperation, held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on June 4, marked the transition of bilateral relations to a new level. The meeting between relevant Turkmen officials and a representative Turkish delegation led by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz began with a detailed review of the implementation of the Protocol of the previous meeting and continued with the synchronization of positions on key projects. The main outcome was the signing of the final Protocol, which enshrines specific steps to diversify the partnership and expand the product range in the markets of both countries.

The delegations identified the transport and logistics sectors and energy as fundamental areas of interaction, directly impacting the economic security of all of Eurasia. Ashgabat and Ankara are focusing on developing a modern, technologically advanced transport infrastructure capable of ensuring uninterrupted and efficient freight transportation at the intersection of Central Asia and Europe. Combined with joint initiatives in the oil and gas and electric power sectors, these steps are intended to transform the Turkmen-Turkish partnership into a guarantor of transport and energy stability on the continent.

In addition to partnerships in Turkmenistan's construction and building materials industries, the parties outlined integration in the food and agricultural sectors. Particular emphasis at the bilateral meetings between the heads of departments was placed on strengthening the position of domestic producers in the Turkish market. The talks demonstrated that trade and economic relations between the two countries are transforming into long-term industrial and infrastructure cooperation.
