Pushkin Theatre Will Present a Premiere During Culture Week


From June 22 to 27, the Balkan velayat will become the cultural center of Turkmenistan as it hosts the annual Culture Week dedicated to the Day of Culture and Arts Workers and the Day of Poetry of Magtymguly Pyragy.
As part of the celebrations, cultural events will take place not only in the western region of the country but also in Ashgabat. The A.S. Pushkin State Russian Drama Theatre has prepared premiere performances of “Scenes from Family Life: Mommy” by French playwright Florian Zeller.
The premiere will be held on June 26 at 7:00 p.m. Additional performances are scheduled for June 27 and 28, also at 7:00 p.m.
The theatre will also present performances for young audiences. On June 27 at 12:00 p.m., children can enjoy “A Visit to the World of Fairy Tales”, based on works by Korney Chukovsky, Samuil Marshak, and Olga Volkova.
On June 28, audiences will have the opportunity to watch “Ali Baba” by M. Sadovnikov, with performances scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
