Apple has begun developing a smart ring that is expected to be released under the name Apple Ring. According to insider reports from GSMArena, the project is still in its early stages. The device is expected to focus on health and activity tracking, competing with the Samsung Galaxy Ring.
In addition to the smart ring, Apple's engineers are also exploring other wearable device formats. These include smart glasses, smart pendants, and AirPods Pro with built-in cameras designed to support artificial intelligence features.
Apple has not yet announced an official release date or pricing for the new device. As with any product in the prototype stage, there is always a possibility that the project could be canceled.
