Faculty Members of Magtymguly Turkmen State University Discuss Climate Security in Bishkek
Faculty members of Magtymguly Turkmen State University took part in the final meeting of an international environmental project held in Bishkek from June 22 to 26, 2026. The meeting focused on advancing higher education in water resources management to promote climate stability and security in Central Asia.
The Turkmen delegation included Sh. Ashyrmuradova, Head of the Department of Ecology, and lecturer E. Perdayev. The conference was organized by the Kazakh-German University in Almaty within the framework of the ERASMUS+ academic exchange programme.
The main objective of the meeting was to review the outcomes of the regional BBCA project. Participants discussed the introduction of new environmental study programmes, the exchange of scientific expertise, and joint efforts to address climate change. Participation in the project enables Turkmenistan to integrate advanced international teaching methods into its higher education system.
