Fujifilm launches new disposable cameras amid the growing retro photography trend

Fujifilm has unveiled two new disposable film cameras in its QuickSnap lineup. The new models are scheduled to be released in the autumn of 2026. The company decided to expand the range in response to rapidly growing demand for analog photography among younger consumers, who are increasingly attracted to the vintage look of film images.
The first model, QuickSnap Black and White, is priced at US$23. It comes preloaded with black-and-white film that delivers high contrast, rich tonal gradation, and classic film grain. A key advantage for modern users is that the film can be developed at regular photo labs using the standard color-film processing method, eliminating the need to find specialized laboratories.
The second model, QuickSnap Active, will retail for US$25. Designed for outdoor adventures, the camera is waterproof to depths of up to 10 meters. It features an enlarged shutter lever and a larger film-winding wheel, making it easier to operate underwater or during active recreation. The new model will replace the company's previous waterproof QuickSnap camera.
These disposable cameras offer an appealing alternative to smartphones for parties, travel, and beach vacations, allowing users to capture unique, authentic moments without the need for complicated camera settings.
