The Sverdlovsk Region Will Send a Major Business Mission to Turkmenistan

On the sidelines of the INNOPROM-2026 International Industrial Exhibition, held from July 6 to 9 in Yekaterinburg, talks were held between Toyguly Nurov, Minister of Industry and Construction of Turkmenistan, and Vyacheslav Yarin, Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region. The key outcome of the meeting was a decision to take industrial partnerships to a qualitatively new level.
To realize existing potential and establish direct commercial contacts, the Sverdlovsk Region will send a representative business mission to Ashgabat. The visit is scheduled for November 2026. The Ural delegation will include top managers from 15 leading companies in the region, leaders in the following industries:
— Oil and gas sector and power engineering;
— Mining;
— Construction materials and metal structures production.
As Vyacheslav Yarin noted, despite the steady annual growth in mutual trade, the Sverdlovsk region is ready to offer Turkmenistan a wider range of high-tech industrial products and ready-made engineering solutions.
The main objective of the November visit is to move from framework agreements to the development of specific joint projects. For the Turkmen Ministry of Industry, Ural technologies are of direct interest in the context of the large-scale modernization of the domestic construction industry and the country's industrial zones.
