Swiss Embassy Delegation Visits the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan
On July 10, the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan hosted a meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the Swiss Confederation. The foreign delegation included the Deputy Head of Regional Cooperation and the Embassy’s Political Adviser.
The visit began with a tour of an exhibition of scientific and project works displayed on the veranda of the institute’s new academic building. Students and faculty members presented their latest developments and innovative projects in the field of energy to the visiting diplomats.
The main part of the visit took place in the institute’s conference hall, where the parties held bilateral talks. Participants noted that the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan has maintained successful cooperation with the European Union, including the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), for many years through major international programmes.
The discussion focused on practical steps for the further joint implementation of innovative scientific and educational projects. Both sides expressed their mutual interest in expanding the exchange of experience and integrating modern technological solutions into the educational process.
