Turkmengas to Purchase Specialized Equipment from German VIETZ GmbH


The Turkmengas State Concern will upgrade its infrastructure through direct supplies of high-tech equipment from Germany. The corresponding resolution was signed by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the document presented by Deputy Prime Minister Guvanch Agajanov, the state concern has been authorized to enter into a contract with the renowned German company VIETZ GmbH. The purchased technical equipment is intended to modernize the infrastructure of subordinate enterprises and institutions in the oil and gas sector, which will improve productivity and safety during both hydrocarbon production and transportation.
The head of state emphasized that the key objective of the domestic fuel and energy sector remains the consistent increase in natural gas production to fully meet domestic needs and fulfill international export obligations.
