Rashid Meredov and Sergey Lavrov Discussed Humanitarian Projects and the Autumn Summit by Telephone

ASHGABAT, July 20 | ORIENT. Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. The conversation was initiated by the Russian side, according to the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The ministers discussed key topics on the bilateral agenda in detail, placing particular emphasis on the humanitarian vector. In particular, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in accelerating joint projects in education and culture.

Preparations for upcoming international meetings were a separate topic of discussion. The ministers coordinated their meetings ahead of the high-level and high-level multilateral events that Turkmenistan will host in October 2026.
