Turkmen Student Completes the OSCE Summer Journalism School 2026

Yusup Orazov, a first-year student of the Faculty of International Journalism at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, took part in the OSCE Summer Journalism School 2026. The educational program was held in Tajikistan from June 28 to July 12.
The project was organized by the OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe with the support of the European Union Delegation to Tajikistan for young professionals and aspiring journalists from the countries of Central Asia. Only 20 students from the region’s leading universities were selected to participate.
The training program focused on professional ethics, media literacy, and methods of combating disinformation. As part of the practical component, participants visited the state television channel Safina, where they learned about studio operations, the specifics of live broadcasting, and the process of producing news programs.
Upon successful completion of the course, Yusup Orazov was awarded an official international certificate. The project served as a platform for exchanging experience and building professional connections among young media professionals from Central Asia.
