The SCRMET and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey Aim to Expand Exchange Cooperation


BUSINESS, July 23 | ORIENT. Negotiations were held in Ankara between the leadership of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
A delegation led by SCRMET Deputy Chairman Yusup Amansaryev met with TOBB President Mustafa Rifat Hisarciklioglu at the headquarters of the Turkish business association. The parties held a detailed exchange of views on enhancing trade potential, strengthening interbank and exchange ties, and creating new mechanisms to stimulate direct B2B contacts between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
Mustafa Rifat Hisarciklioglu expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for the visit and emphasized TOBB's readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in integrating trading platforms and sharing best practices in the digitalization of exchange trading. The meeting in Ankara marked another practical step in implementing bilateral agreements to increase mutual trade volumes and diversify Turkmen exports to Turkish and European markets.
During the working visit, the Turkmen delegation also studied the practical experience of the Turkish Commodity Exchange (TÜRİB) in implementing electronic warehouse receipts and operating a digital system within the exchange structure.
