Turkmenistan and Turkey Expand Aviation Training


EDUCATION, July 23 | ORIENT. Turkmenistan's Minister of Education, Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev, held talks with Professor Dr. Rahmi Er, Rector of the Turkish Aviation Association University, in Ashgabat. The main topic of the meeting was the training of highly qualified specialists for civil aviation and related high-tech industries.
Representatives from the educational and aviation sectors of both countries participated in the talks. According to the Ministry of Education, Professor Rahmi Er presented the Turkish university's capabilities and its accumulated experience in training Turkmen flight crews. The discussion went beyond traditional pilot training.
The focus was on the integration of advanced solutions in logistics, flight safety, and the introduction of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity into the aviation industry.
The partnership includes the launch of direct academic exchanges between students and faculty, the development of joint courses, and the strengthening of direct ties between universities in Turkmenistan and Turkey, opening a new stage in the training of specialized personnel for the transport and logistics sector.
