Turkmenistan Is Preparing to Host the Investment Forum TIF 2026

Preparations for a major international event, the Turkmenistan Investment Forum (TIF 2026), are gaining momentum. Deputy Prime Minister Khodjamyrat Geldimyradov reported on the implementation of a set of organizational measures at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
The upcoming large-scale forum, scheduled for October of this year, will be a key platform for presenting Turkmenistan's economic potential and investment attractiveness. The program of events will cover key areas of the national economy, including the strategic development of the fuel and energy sector, the industrial complex, and the creation of reliable transport and communications corridors.
Digital and green transformation trends, which drive sustainable development, will be a key focus of discussions at TIF 2026. Experts and international investors will discuss the implementation of innovative financial technologies, stimulating agribusiness, methods for adapting agriculture to climate change, and environmental protection issues.
Additionally, a substantive exchange of views is planned on stimulating trade, expanding the service sector, developing public-private partnership mechanisms, and attracting capital from reputable international financial institutions. The forum is expected to give new impetus to the diversification of the Turkmen economy and strengthening foreign economic ties.
