Uzbekistan Joins ICCA, Paving the Way to Host Global Forums and Congresses
Uzbekistan has officially become a member of the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). The accession of the Project Office under the Tourism Committee to this prestigious organization gives the country direct access to the global MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions) market, according to Yuz.uz.
This milestone will enable Uzbekistan to attract large-scale international summits, exhibitions, and corporate forums. Compared to leisure travelers, participants in business events spend on average three to four times more, boosting the hotel industry, transportation, catering, and other service sectors.
