Biology Olympiad Has Been Announced for School Students of Turkmenistan
A national Biology Olympiad for students in grades 11 and 12 of general secondary schools will be held in Turkmenistan. The intellectual competition is aimed at identifying talented young people, helping students with career guidance, and promoting the development of digital education.
Senior students from all schools across the country are eligible to participate. The official language of the Olympiad is Turkmen.
The Olympiad will be held in two stages:
• Qualifying stage: held at schools, in etraps and velayats, as well as in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag. The regional round will take place on September 14. Based on its results, the finalists will be selected: the five best students from each region and the capital, as well as three representatives of the State Specialized Boarding School named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashy.
• Final stage: will be held on September 18 at 10:00 a.m. at the Myrat Garryyev State Medical University of Turkmenistan.
The final stage of the Olympiad will be conducted individually on computers using specialized software. Participants will have 90 minutes to complete the test assignments. The results will be calculated automatically based on the scores obtained, and the winners will receive diplomas of the first, second and third degrees.
The approved lists of participants and their teachers from the education authorities must be sent by e-mail to tdlu.iolimp@gmail.com by September 15.
