Turkmenistan to open trading house at Mazar-e-Sharif

Turkmenistan will open its trading house at Mazar-e-Sharif city of Afghanistan. The decision was announced Monday after the summit talks between the presidents of Turkmenistan and Afghanistan in Ashgabat. With successful experience of operating trading houses in several other countries, Turkmenistan hopes to augment mutual trade volume through the trading house in Mazar-e-Sharif, a key city of Afghanistan. The trade turnover between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan in 2016 was USD 547 million.
