President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov leads a massive environmental campaign
Ashgabat is preparing to celebrate its 140th anniversary, perfect order is being established throughout the city, and on Saturday, April 17th, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov led a mass campaign to improve the territories. The head of state took up the care of tree seedlings, setting an example for other participants. This year is also significant for the 30th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, therefore, in honor of the anniversary date, other cities of the country have also joined the environmental campaign. Large-scale planting of trees is carried out in the country every spring and autumn, traditionally lead by the president. At the same time, the Turkmen leader urges his compatriots not only to plant trees, but also to continue caring for green areas.
