PRC transport corporations are interested in transit through Turkmenistan

Freight transit was the subject of negotiations held on Thursday, February 4, by the Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency of Turkmenistan, Mukhamedgeldy Chakiyev, with the leadership of Chinese corporations.
Among them are China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation and China Machinery Engineering Corporation, who have expressed interest in the operation of transport routes through Turkmenistan, the supply of railway equipment and machinery, and the exchange of technology in shipbuilding.
Representatives of the Chinese Transport and Communication Association were also interested in the organization of regular container transportation on the railways of Turkmenistan from China to Europe, Turkey.
