The state concern "Turkmenneft" will receive more than 250 million manats for diversification and expansion of its capacities. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution on lending to the oil concern during a working meeting on Monday.
The resolution was published in the evening newscast of the Turkmen State Radio and Television. According to the document, these funds will be allocated by the Central Bank, they will go to the Joint Stock Commercial Bank "Turkmenbashi", where a credit line "Turkmenneft" will be issued to finance new projects for the exploration and production of oil, the development of hydrocarbon fields.
“The state will continue to invest in the fuel and energy complex,” Berdimuhamedov said at a meeting attended by Deputy Prime Minister Shahym Abdrakhmanov, who oversees this area.
Earlier, the State Concern "Turkmengaz" and the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" received loans for projects on exploration and development of new oil and gas. fields.
