Today, the Agrarian Party of Turkmenistan has decided on its candidacy for the highest state post of the country. At the extraordinary IV party congress, it was decided to nominate the deputy head of the Mary region, Agadzhan Bekmyradov, as a candidate for participation in the presidential elections.

A civil engineer by profession, Agadzhan Bekmyradov, after graduating from the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 1995, worked in the district administrations of the Mary region, in the Vekilbazar district council of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli, the union of trade unions of the same district. Since April 2017, Bekmyradov has been the deputy head of the Mary region.
