Serdar Berdimuhamedov started meetings with voters from the Dashoguz region
Candidates for the presidency of Turkmenistan begin meetings with voters - a new stage of the election campaign opened on Monday, February 21.
On this day, Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov, running from the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, held a meeting with the electorate of the Dashoguz region. Personal communication with voters representing different segments of the population of the northern region of the country took place in the building of the regional administration.
The confidant of the candidate, a teacher from one of the secondary schools in the region, introduced Serdar Berdimuhamedov, describing his personal and organizational qualities, and noted his experience in various areas of public administration.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov, speaking to voters, said that it was a great honor and responsibility for him to take part in the upcoming elections for the post of head of state.
The candidate focused on the key theses of his election program, including the growth of the international prestige of Turkmenistan and successful internal development, the implementation of the national program for the next 30 years, ensuring a high standard of living for the people, which requires solidarity and united efforts of all compatriots.
In a conversation with residents of the region, Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid special attention to the socio-economic indicators and prospects of the Dashoguz region. He singled out the construction of housing, schools and kindergartens, roads, providing the population with high-quality drinking water, rational water use and the development of tourism among his tasks in the region, promised to support entrepreneurship, especially in agriculture through preferential mechanisms.
Answering voters' questions, Serdar Berdimuhamedov also touched upon other topics, expressing his positions and vision of further work on them.
