2726 national observers are monitoring the election campaign

The CEC of Turkmenistan has registered 2,726 national observers for the presidential elections to be held on March 12.
Of these: 544 observers - from the Democratic Party, 355 - from the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, 390 - from the Agrarian Party, 520 - from Trade Unions, 290 - from the Women's Union, 525 - from the Youth Organization, 84 - from citizens' groups and 18 - from running candidates.
About half - 47.76% of domestic observers are women.
Within the framework of their powers, national observers monitor the compliance with the law of the conduct of the election campaign.
