The foreign trade turnover of Turkmenistan increased by 30.7% in January-February 2022 as compared to the base value of the same period of the last year.

At the same time, the volume of retail trade turnover in the country increased by 10.6%. Turkmen producers also continue to increase output - in the first two months of the year, its total volume was 10.7% more than in January-February 2021.

Such figures were given in the report at a government meeting on Friday by Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

According to him, since the beginning of the year, 326,000 square meters of housing, more than a hundred social facilities, and dozens of engineering structures have been built in rural areas.
