This was stated by the Head of the Mission, First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee - Executive Secretary of the CIS Leonid Anfimov during a meeting with the Chairman of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan Ata Serdarov, who is a confidant of presidential candidate Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
State agencies and the CEC of Turkmenistan have done everything possible to hold free, democratic, and transparent elections, and the election campaign is widely covered by the media, Anfimov said.
Based on the monitoring, it can be concluded that all contenders for the post of head of Turkmenistan have equal access to the media, their campaigning work is widely covered, and information about all candidates is provided at polling stations in full, the head of the mission emphasized.
