The inauguration ceremony of the elected president of Turkmenistan will take place a week after the vote - on Saturday, March 19. The date was announced by the head of state Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a meeting with the country's leadership corps, where the main topic was preparations for the elections.
The inauguration ceremony of the President of Turkmenistan will be held at the “Oguzhan” Palace, then the celebrations will continue at the Reception Center.
The meeting addressed the issues of holding elections on March 12 in a comprehensive manner, from campaign financing to its information support, logistics and digital support, and compliance with sanitary and preventive requirements.
