Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov on Thursday met with the new ambassador of the State of Israel, Mrs. Beth Eden Kite.

The Turkmen diplomat congratulated his colleague on the appointment and wished him great success in the activities aimed at developing cooperation between the two countries.

The interlocutors assessed the level of relations between Turkmenistan and Israel in the political sphere, trade and economic relations and humanitarian dialogue. "The parties noted the positive experience of multilateral cooperation within the framework of authoritative regional and international organizations, including the importance of mutual support for international initiatives and initiatives," the Turkmen Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Ambassador Beth-Eden Keith handed over copies of credentials to Rashid Meredov and assured him that he would make every effort to further expand and strengthen relations between Turkmenistan and Israel.
