The new Israeli Ambassador to Turkmenistan Beth-Eden Kite presented her credentials to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The meeting was held on Tuesday, May 10.

The diplomat also conveyed greetings from Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog with wishes of great success to Serdar Berdimuhamedov as head of state, and confirmed her country's great interest in developing dialogue with Turkmenistan.

Further, during the meeting, topical issues of cooperation between the two states were discussed, the key areas of which were trade and the technological sector, the agro-industrial complex and water management, healthcare and science.

Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ambassador Kite noted the importance of diplomatic cooperation between Turkmenistan and Israel on international platforms, including the UN, in order to promote peace and universal security.
