Turkmenistan participates in the OCA Forum in Riyadh, where the Asian Games of 2023 are discussed
The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) gathered 44 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) from five zones of the continent in Riyadh at the OCA/Olympic Solidarity Regional Forum on Sunday. The event, which is also attended by a representative of the NOC of Turkmenistan, will last until December 7.
Haider Farman, Director of the OSA Asian Games Department, said that the four-day forum provided the NOC delegates with an ideal platform to discuss issues of mutual interest, in particular, preparations for two OSA multi-sport Games in 2023: the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8 and the 6th Asian Games Indoor and Martial Arts (AIMAG) in Bangkok and Chonburi Province, Thailand, from November 17 to 26.
The Forum will also help the NOC prepare for the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024, taking into account the fact that Asia had the honor to host the previous Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
