Ashgabat hosts courses of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for football coaches to apply for a category "A" license, the website of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan reports.

This is the second training module in the licensed program. The first part was organized in November. The courses are conducted by a specialist from Uzbekistan, FIFA and AFC instructor Usmon Toshev, and he is assisted by AFC instructor, Honored Coach of Turkmenistan Rovshen Mukhadov. In total, 24 local football coaches participate in the course, who, in addition to theoretical knowledge, also master practical skills.

The Uzbek specialist positively assessed the prospects for the development of Turkmen football and noted that the country has created all the conditions for this.

The courses will last until December 12.

The "A" license gives you the right to work as a coach in football and its varieties, as a head coach in clubs of the first division of the country, as well as to train teams in the AFC Cup.
