The countries of the Caspian region will discuss cooperation in the transport and logistics industry
The International Forum named "Transport Logistics of the Caspian region 2023" will be held in Astrakhan on April 26-27, the "Turkmenawtoulaglary" agency reports.
The Forum will bring together representatives of the public sector, transport and logistics companies, as well as experts in this field from the states of the Caspian region, India and other countries.
They will discuss key issues of the Volga-Caspian transport and logistics ecosystem and international transport corridors of Greater Eurasia, consider effective business strategies in the context of global changes in transport flows and the transformation of the Caspian region into a key hub of the main directions of Eurasia: North-South, West-East, North-East, South-West.
In particular, the key issues of the forum's business program will be the expansion of international cooperation and integration for the development of transport and logistics business, export of agricultural products in the region, investment in projects for the development of transport and logistics infrastructure and much more.
Following the results of the meeting, a document is expected to be adopted, which will be submitted to the relevant state administration bodies for making appropriate decisions.
