The junior national hockey team of Turkmenistan will take part in the Asian and Oceania Championship
The junior national hockey team of Turkmenistan will perform at the Asian and Oceania Championship, which will be held on March 11-19 in Ulan Bator (Mongolia).
Teams from Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Iran, the UAE and Thailand will compete for the title of the best team of the continent.
The Turkmen delegation included 24 people, including 20 athletes.
The wards of Guvanchmurad Jepbarov will hold their first meeting within the framework of the tournament on March 11 against the national team of Uzbekistan.
The next day, the Turkmen hockey players will meet with Thailand. On March 14, the national team of Turkmenistan will play with the UAE, on March 15 with the hosts of the championship — Mongolia, and on March 17 — with Iran.
The competitions will be held at the Steppe Arena Ice Palace.
